A van driver died after his vehicle collided with trucks which had been forced to stop on a motorway near Calais, France, in the early hours of June 20 because of a barricade that had been erected by migrants and refugees, according to the BBC.

The vehicle was reportedly Polish-registered.

The incident happened between exits 49 and 50 on the A16, according to Liberation.
