The first group of residents trapped in Aleppo begin their escape through a humanitarian corridor. Desparate civilians were helped to leave the city via exit corridors, while those who remain were given aid packages.

In fact civilians there are in such dire conditions that Russian servicemen were mobbed while handing out food and medical supplies...with locals grabbing whatever they could.
