The farmers' agitation, which started from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, is spreading in different states of the country. Breaking the silence for the first time on farmers' agitation, the Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have said that the demands of farmers are justified and they should get the full cost of their crop. CM Kejriwal said that the central government has a lot of money and if the central government can forgive thousands of rupees of the capitalists then they can forgive the farmers' debt too.

मध्य प्रदेश के मंदसौर से शुरू हुए किसान आंदोलन की आग देश के अलग-अलग राज्यों में फैल रही है। किसानों के आंदोलन पर पहली बार चुप्पी तोड़ते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के मुखिया और दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा है कि किसानों की मांग जायज है और उन्हें उनकी फसल की पूरी कीमत मिलनी चाहिए। सीएम केजरीवाल ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार के पास बहुत पैसा है और केंद्र सरकार अगर पूंजीपतियों के हजारों करोड़ रुपए माफ कर सकती है तो फिर वह किसानों का कर्ज भी माफ कर सकती है. केजरीवाल ने आरोप लगाया कि हाल ही में केंद्र सरकार ने किसी एक पूंजीपति का 35000 करोड़ रुपए का बकाया माफ कर दिया था जो कि किसी एक राज्य में सभी किसानों द्वारा लिए गए कर्ज से कहीं ज्यादा है। किसानों की कर्जमाफी और फसलों के उचित भुगतान ना मिलने के मुद्दे पर देश के अलग-अलग राज्यों में किसानों के आंदोलनों से केंद्र सरकार और बीजेपी घिरी हुई है। गौरतलब है कि तमाम विपक्षी पार्टियां बीजेपी पर अपने चुनावी वादे को पूरा ना करने का आरोप लगा रही हैं।
