Brendan Calwell was on the hunt for “Ghost Fungi”.
Omphalotus nidiformis, aka “Ghost Fungi”, is the luminescent glowing of fungus found in Southern Australia and can be seen every Autumn around the rotting trees. Although they glow both day and night they can still be difficult to find but Brendan managed to catch a glimpse of the bizarre phenomena. Credit: Brendan Calwell via Storyful
