Police forcibly removed dozens of anti-government protesters staging a sit-in to block a march led by the Law and Justice Party to commemorate the 2010 Smolensk plane crash in Warsaw, Saturday. The counter protest, organised by civic rights group Citizens of the Republic of Poland, decried Law and Justice Party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski's exploitation of the crash for political purposes. Protesters held white roses and Polish flags, some chained themselves together forcing police to use bolt cutters to cut them loose.
