தமிழகத்தில் பிளாஸ்டிக் அரிசி, பிளாஸ்டிக் சர்க்கரை விவகாரம் விஸ்வரூபம் எடுத்து பீதி ஏற்பட்டு உள்ளது. தமிழகத்தில் பிளாஸ்டிக் அரிசி மற்றும் பிளாஸ்டிக் சர்க்கரை விற்கப்படவில்லை என்று தமிழக அரசு மறுப்பு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Amidst reports that adulterated ‘plastic rice’ is doing the rounds across States, Tamil Nadu Food Minister R. Kamaraj on Thursday assured that “every” rice bag received by the State from the Central pool was being monitored.
