Several downtown roads were closed in Charleston, South Carolina, on Tuesday, June 6, after two to four inches of rain fell across the area. The National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings through Tuesday evening, according to reports.

Multiple thunderstorms and, at times, torrential downpours combined with the high tide, would cause more flooding, according to the National Weather Service.
