On Monday at the WWDC, Apple announced a host of new features and improvements to its products. Here are some of the biggest reveals from the conference: 1. Apple will release a rival to the Google Home and Amazon Echo – the HomePod, a "musicologist" equipped with spatial awareness technology. It will be available at $349 starting December. 2. WatchOS will feature new watch faces with Pixar characters. 3. The new macOS is called High Sierra with newer, faster version of the Safari browser with new facial recognition features in Photos. 4. A new iMac Pro with "workstation class" performance will be available this December along with a new line of iMacs and MacBooks. 5. iOS has been revamped to feature person-to-person Apple Pay, a new Control Center with functions on one page, a do-not-disturb-while-driving feature Indoor mapping with Maps, an improved camera for more live video capabilities, and on-the-fly translation with Siri. 6. A new iPad Pro will feature a larger, 10.5-inch display that allows for a virtual keyboard. The new iOS update will be available for free this September.
