The Clock Square in Idlib city has been repaired, and its central clock tower restored, years after it was badly damage by regime airstrikes.
According to local reports, Idlib City Council worked with a humanitarian organization called Violet to restore the square as part of the “Idlib Spring” project.
The square, and its central clock, were badly damaged in regime airstrikes in 2015. In the early weeks and months of the Syrian conflict, the square attracted hundreds of people to regular protests.
