For five youngsters from Kerala and one from Lakshadweep, the mistake of referring to the city of Mumbai by its former name landed them in police custody. The six youngsters were taken into custody by Mumbai Railway Protection force on Tuesday morning after they referred to ‘Bombay’ as "Bomb"
രത്നഗിരിയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഉര്‍ദ്ദു പഠിയ്ക്കാനാണ് 6 മുസ്ലീം യുവാക്കള്‍ ബോംബേയിലെത്തിയത്. ക്ലാസില്‍ ചേരുന്നതിന് മുന്നോടിയായി ഇവര്‍ നാട് കാണാന്‍ ഇറങ്ങി. മുംബൈയിലെ ലോക്കല്‍ ട്രെയിനില്‍ ആയിരുന്നു യാത്ര. യാത്രക്കിടെ ഇവര്‍ സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്നത് മലയാളമായിരുന്നു. ഇവര്‍ ഉറക്കെ 'ബോംബെ', 'ബോംബെ' എന്ന് പറയുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇത് കേട്ട മറ്റൊരു യാത്രക്കാര്‍ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിച്ച യുവാക്കള്‍ ബോംബ് എന്നാണ് പറയുന്നതെന്ന്. ഇയാള്‍ ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ റെയില്‍വേ പോലീസില്‍ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചു.
