Manchester Police cordoned off the street outside Manchester Arena after reports of an explosion. Police tweeted 19 fatalities have been confirmed and that it is being treated as a terrorist incident.

American pop singer Ariana Grande had just finished performing at the arena at the time. The venue and the station were evacuated. A local reporter at the scene said people had left the Manchester Arena ‘covered in blood.’
