Twitter's co-founder Evan Williams apologized if the social networking platform helped elect Donald Trump, as the president previously suggested. "Let me tell you about Twitter. I think that maybe I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Twitter, because I get such a fake press, such a dishonest press," Trump told the Fox News. Trump noted that his social media accounts allow to directly reach out to the American people and bypass the media. "If it's true that he wouldn't be president if it weren't for Twitter, then yeah, I'm sorry," Williams told the New York Times in response.
