EN: Rayman 2: The Great Escape is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubi Soft Montpellier and published by Ubi Soft and the sequel to the original game. It was first released for the Nintendo 64 and Microsoft Windows in 1999, and Dreamcast and PlayStation in 2000. It was later adapted for the PlayStation 2 as Rayman Revolution, the Game Boy Color as Rayman 2 Forever, the Nintendo DS as Rayman DS, and as Rayman 3D on the Nintendo 3DS.

The game was critically acclaimed upon release. It is considered to have raised standards regarding 3D, level design and gameplay,[1][2] The game has been mentioned in some "Best Games Of All Time" lists in the past.

FR: PC pour les fêtes de fin d'année 1999, sur Dreamcast en février 2000 puis en septembre 2000 sur PlayStation. Il a aussi été développé sur PlayStation 2 la même année sous le nom Rayman Revolution, sur Nintendo DS en 2005 sous le nom Rayman DS, sur iOS en 2010 sous le nom original puis sur Nintendo 3DS sous le nom Rayman 3D en 2011.
Rayman 2: The Great Escape marque un changement important puisque le jeu passe d'un affichage 2D à un affichage en 3D. Ce n'est pas le seul bouleversement puisque l'histoire, le monde et l'ambiance générale du jeu n'ont plus grand-chose en commun avec le premier opus, Rayman.
