At a time when bad celebrity apologies flow like canned rosé, Jennifer Lawrence is issuing a refreshing sorry-not-sorry for partying.
Our story begins yesterday, after Radar Online published a video of the Oscar winner pole dancing at a club in Vienna, Austria, where she’s filming the new spy thriller Red Sparrow. In true sensationalist fashion, the National Enquirer’s online site billed the video as a “bombshell world exclusive” in which Lawrence supposedly “takes off her top, grinds on a hunk, and spanks her own behind,” and later describes her as “America’s sweetheart cutting loose like a low-rent go-go dancer.” (The actual video, of course, is significantly less scandalous to the point of unremarkable, showing J.Law, um, dancing around a little.)
