Female Kurdish fighters train and prepare for battle against ISIS north east of Mosul. The women's unit, which has approximately 200 troops, fight in allegiance with the Kurdistan Freedom Fighters (PAK).
According to reports, the fighters have been using a unique tactic to counter IS forces on the battlefield, in which they sing through loudspeakers to lure militants closer before attacking them with machine guns.
