Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling is set to appear a Republican party fundraiser in Maine later this month. Republicans described Schilling as "a New England legend and prominent Republican." Schilling officially retired from baseball in 2009 and joined Breitbart in 2016. Schilling pitched for several major league teams but was most notable for his stint with the Red Sox from 2004 until 2007.
