Drone footage captured smoke rising from the hillside of Clonmany, County Donegal, Ireland, on May 8 from a wildfire that rapidly spread.

Three fire brigades battled to get the fire under control in Clonmany. A dry spell and strong breeze contributed to the fire’s growth.

Senior fire officer Kevin McGarvey told the Donegal Democrat that a number of the fires have been started through carelessness.
