European Rally Championship driver Tomasz Kasperczyk was involved in a dramatic near miss during the Rally Islas Canarias on 5 May in the Canary Islands. His car skidded off-track, and was only saved from a sheer drop by the guardrail. The driver escaped from the car immediately afterwards, signalling he was OK.
