Emmanuel Macron was elected the next president of France on Sunday in a decisive victory over the far-right Front National leader Marine Le Pen. The pro-EU centrist beat Le Pen by about 65 percent to 35 percent. The 39-year-old, who served as the economy minister for two years, is now France's youngest president. "We will not give into fear, we will not give into division. I will do everything to make sure you never have reason again to vote for extremes."
