Kannada TV actress Rekha Sindhu was killed in a car accident on the Chennai-Bengaluru highway early this morning.
The tragedy occurred at national highway Sunnamputkuttai village near Pernambut when her car’s tyre bursted.
Featured in Kannada TV serials and advertisements, Rekha Sindhu was confused with Tamil TV actress Rekha Krishnappa.
Krishnappa began getting several calls from well-wishers and this prompted she to assure her fans on Facebook that she is alive and well.
She said:
"I am all fine guys...at present in Sringeri. Sharada petta temple"
Meanwhile, Vellore police have filed a case about the accident and started an investigation.
