A day after the protests by war veterans, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that his government is committed to the long-awaited One Rank One Pension policy for ex-servicemen. In a tweet, the PM said, "On OROP, the Govt is committed to OROP & there's no doubt about it." Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has said the precise date for implementing One Rank One Pension scheme for ex-servicemen has not yet been decided.
