The tenth series of Britain's Got Talent premiered on 9 April 2016 Ant & Dec returned to present the main show on ITV, while Stephen Mulhern returned to present the spin-off show Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2. Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden returned for their tenth series on the judging panel, whilst Alesha Dixon and David Walliams returned for their fifth series. This is the first series that Lotto have sponsored the show.
Judges and presenters
On 27 September 2015, it was reported all four judges had signed for the tenth series, and Ant & Dec would return to present the main show on ITV, while Mulhern would return to present the sister show Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2. ITV also confirmed on 9 October 2015 that Cowell, Holden, Dixon, and Walliams would all return. Walliams' mother Kathleen Williams stepped in for Cowell, who was running late at the London auditions on 23 January.
The initial trailer for the show was released on 11 March 2016. The Semi Finals will air from 22 May to 26 May with the Grand Final taking place 2 days later on the 28 May, because of the football on the 27 May.
Britain's Got Talent (often shortened to BGT) is a British television talent show competition which started in June 2007 and originated from the Got Talent franchise. The show is a Thames production (formerly Talkback Thames) distributed by FremantleMedia and is produced in association with Syco TV. The show is broadcast on ITV and its sister show Britain's Got More Talent is broadcast on ITV2.
