Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Thursday stated that his party, the Hindustani Awam Morcha, and the Bharatiya Janata Party will contest the upcoming Bihar elections together, adding that the main agenda of the alliance will be to thwart the incumbent Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s alliance. The Bihar assembly elections are scheduled to be held later this year.
