Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda declined any possibility to reconsider section 377 that criminalizes gay sex saying that the government has no plan to scrap the law that criminalises homosexuality. He said he was misquoted by media and that there was a need of a broader debate on the issue to take "all views into account".
