Dramatic footage of a storm chaser running towards a car after it was purportedly blown into a field by a powerful tornado.

The video, filmed in Texas, USA on April 29, shows the carnage caused by the storm with trees torn out of the ground and cars destroyed.

A rescue worker can be overheard saying that someone is "trapped in their car" as the filmer runs through a debris-covered field.
