Centre and the Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland (Isak-Muivah) faction on Monday signed a landmark peace accord in the presence of the Prime Minister, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval by the outfit's leader T Muivah and government's interlocutor RN Ravi at the PM's residence in New Delhi to end animosity and usher into a new era of peace. Before the agreement was signed, Modi spoke to leaders of various parties including former Prime MinisterManmohan Singh, Congress' Mallikarjun Kharge, SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, BSP's Mayawati, NCP supremoSharad Pawar and CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury.
