He was just trying to escape violence But ended up being the victim of it Police in Texas now admit an officer shot at a car fleeing a party And it was not actually driving at other officers, as originally claimed 15-year-old Jordan Edwards was shot in the head and killed as a result Police were initially on scene because of reports of noise and underage drinking The sound of gunfire was heard, prompting Edwards and several others to get in a car and drive away One officer saw the car, and apparently opened fire on it Originally police said the car was driving in "an aggressive manner" towards police But they now admit that wasn't true "Before the driver could respond, the unidentified police officer fired multiple shots at the vehicle."
