J&K Independent MLA Engineer Rashid was beaten up by BJP MLAs in J&K Assembly for hosting beef party in the MLA hostel on Wednesday. BJP MLA Ravinder Raina thrashed Rashid for acting against the ban. As BJP MLAs assaulted him, several NC and Congress MLAs rushed to save him. Shortly after the incident, the National Congress staged a walk out of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly opposing the actions of the BJP MLAs.
