Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot has revealed that Centre will introduce special identity cards for all persons with disabilities in the country. He added that it would enable them to claim the benefits of various government welfare schemes. He has announced a financial aid of Rs. 19 crore for completing the upcoming Composite Regional Centre (CRC) for Persons with Disabilities at Chevayur.
