Ayo Dosunmu is considered Chicago's top high school player right now. Just a junior, the 6'4 PG spent last season playing under Mr. Basketball Charlie Moore at Morgan Park, a powerhouse on the city's South Side.
Primarily a role player last school season, Ayo had a breakout spring and summer playing AAU with Mac Irvin Fire on the Nike circuit including a productive stint in the EYBL. This caused Ayo's recruiting stock to soar.
Currently ranked 21st (Rivals), 20th (Scout), 26th (247) and 33rd in the ESPN60 overall in the Class of 2018, Ayo is the top ranked player in the Chicago area, regardless of class.
Heading into his junior year, Ayo's offers include Butler, Oklahoma State, Tulane, Missouri, UTEP, Cincinnati, Xavier, Iowa State, Marquette, Creighton, St. John's, Florida State, Northwestern, UNLV, Texas A&M, UIC, Illinois, and SMU. Expect that list to keep growing.
