Pavan Kapoor has been named as India’s new ambassador to Israel. he is a 1990 batch Indian Foreign Service officer and he will replace Jaideep Sarkar. He has served in different capacities in the Indian Missions in Moscow, Kyiv, London and Geneva apart from serving in the Ministry of External Affairs and the Prime Minister’s Office during his diplomatic career.
