Humans caused a wildfire burning near Mesa, Arizona, on Wednesday, April 26, fire officials told local media, adding that the fire was still under investigation. The Cactus Fire has burned 25 acres near Bush Highway in Tonto National Forest.

The fire, which started late Tuesday morning, is being driven by winds, according to the incident report. Bush Highway has been closed, but no buildings were threatened as of Tuesday morning.

The Salt River Wild Horse Management Group, which works in Tonto National Forest, said it was monitoring the wild horses, according to a report. The horses instincts are to fear smoke, and the horses could sustain injuries on the terrain if they panic, the group said.
