United Airlines is again at the center of a troubling incident. A 3-foot-long, young rabbit flying from the U.K. to Chicago was found dead upon arrival.

United Airlines is again at the center of a troubling incident.
A 3-foot-long, young rabbit traveling from London Heathrow to Chicago O’Hare International Airport "was found dead in the cargo hold" upon arrival, reports the BBC.
Annette Edwards, the breeder, said that the Continental Giant named Simon was being transported to his new owner.
She told The Sun, “Simon had a vet's check-up three hours before the flight and was fit as a fiddle." Edwards further noted, “Something very strange has happened and I want to know what. I've sent rabbits all around the world and nothing like this has happened before."
United said in a statement, “We were saddened to hear this news…We have been in contact with our customer and have offered assistance."
However, Edwards told NBC News that as of Wednesday, the airline had not yet reached out to her.
