By 2020, Uber promises to bring flying taxis to the rideshare market. The Uber flying taxi would be a small, electric aircraft, that would have vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) technology. There are hubs for takeoffs and landing strips being developed in Texas and Dubai, where the company plans to first deploy the taxis.
