Republican lawmakers want a reversal of Obama's policies that ban discrimination against LGBT individuals in the workplace, and they wrote a letter to Trump that pushed for protection of religious liberty. The lawmakers also pushed for doctors to refuse to perform abortions based on their religion and for churches to deny issuing health insurance for abortions. The policy is currently under development, and Trump is assessing how to proceed.
