A 101-year-old Indian woman was a runaway hit at the World Masters Games on Monday, April 24, when she completed the 100 meters.
Man Kaur, who the New Zealand Herald reports began her athletic career at the age of 94, crossed the line in one minute, 14 seconds. As the only competitor in the 100+ category, she was awarded gold.
The games are being held in Auckland, New Zealand, and continue until April 30. Kaur was down to compete in the shot, javelin and 200 meters as well, the Herald said.
