This video, broadcast live on Facebook on April 20, shows the moments when gunfire erupted on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The shooting would leave one policeman dead and two injured. The attacker was shot and killed by police.

In the footage, bursts of gunfire are heard, before more sustained gunfire sparks panic and screams among bystanders. The person holding the camera flees up the street before turning his camera back towards the scene, where police officers are seen with raised weapons. He then seeks shelter in a clothing store, along with other people.

The policeman who died was identified as Xavier Jugelé. The attacker was named in media as Karim Cheufri.
