The Pune businessman who came to be known as the 'Gold Man', Datta Phuge was allegedly beaten to death in front of his son late last night. He became famous after he was photographed in a pure gold shirt a few years ago. It was a 3.5 kg shirt, crafted by 15 workmen from Bengal and worth Rs 1.2 crore. Four persons have been detained and police is investigating the reason.
