A man attempted to sail New Zealand’s South Island in an inflatable boat on April 19.

David Puklowski is attempting to circumnavigate the South Island of New Zealand in an inflatable boat to raise money for his friend, Russell Blowers, who has Rickets Disease.

Puklowski set sail from Lyttelton for Kaikoura while aboard the 3.8-meter boat. The journey was expected to take 19 days.
