Tamil Nadu leader of opposition MK Stalin and all DMK MLAs present in the House are suspended from the assembly for a week. MK Stalin was carried out of the Assembly by marshals. AIADMK MLA Gunasekaran had made a snide remark about Stalin's "Namakku Naame" campaign. DMK MLAs wanted the Speaker to expunge the remark from the House records. This led to arguments between the two parties in the Assembly which forced the Speaker to suspend the MLAs.
