Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya was slammed on twitter after a news broke that he was arrested last month for abusing a female journalist on twitter. The Mumbai Police confirmed that the singer was arrested by the BKC cyber police and also released on bail soon after the arrest since he was arrested in a bailable offence. The police had registered an FIR against the singer after complaint filed by Aam Aadmi Party National Executive Member and Spokesperson Preeti Sharma Menon.
