After the disappointing performance of India in Rio Olympics, prime minister Narendra Modi has announced that the govt will set up an Olympic task force which will help sports persons prepare for the next three Olympics. The task force would cover infrastructure, training and selection. this announcement was made yesterday in a cabinet meeting.
