Ankur Panwar who was convicted for murdering Delhi resident Preethi Rathi by throwing acid on her has been punished with death sentence by Mumbai court. On May 2, 2013 - Ankur had attacked Preeti with acid at Bandra Terminus as she had reached the city to as a nurse. He wanted to take revenge as the girl had declined his proposal.
