"In this day of social media, it’s certainly common for people to be self-conscious about their lips. They notice that their lips are thin, they notice if they are asymmetric. We have different ways of fixing that, addressing that. One way is to put in a temporary filler - a temporary filler can be a hyaluronic acid like Restylane or like Juvederm. And those are injected with a really fine needle in an office procedure. You can go to work that afternoon and your lip gets filled and that last usually between three months and six months. That's a good way to see if you like your lip a little bit bigger. A second way is to do that permanently. If you pass that test and you really like what it looks like, you can do that with an FDA-approved off-label use of a silicone product" Dr. Loeb
