Having faced humiliating defeat in Uttar Pradesh election earlier this year, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati indicated that she was willing to be part of a larger anti-BJP front. Maya made the announcement while addressing the cadre during BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary function at Lucknow’s Ambedkar Memorial on Friday. Her announcement assumes significance as it indicates formation of a larger front to stop the BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to seek a second term.
यूपी में बीजेपी के जीत के बाद छोटे दायरे में सिमट चुके राजनीतिक दल अपनी साख बचाने के लिए राजनीति की नई ईबारत लिखने की तैयारी में हैं. अंबेडकर जयंती के अवसर पर बसपा सुप्रिमो मायावती ने बड़ा बयान दिया है. उन्होंने कहा है कि वह लोकतंत्र बचाने के लिए अब किसी से भी हाथ मिला सकती हैं. हाल ही में हुए विधान सभा चुनाव में मायावती को करारी हार का सामना करना पड़ा है. मायावती ने ईवीएम में गड़बड़ी की बात भी दोहराई है. उन्होंने कहा कि ईवीएम को लेकर जबतक कोई सकारात्मक कार्रवाई नहीं होती है वे अपनी लड़ाई जारी रखेंगी.
