Convoys of buses left four besieged towns, two each in Damascus and Idlib provinces, on April 14, evacuating fighters, their families, and others under a deal between rebel groups and the Syrian government.

Around 5,000 people from al-Foua and Kefraya, pro-regime towns in Idlib, reportedly headed to Aleppo city, while about 3,200 people from Madaya and Zabadani, near Damascus, left for Idlib province.

Footage here shows buses in Madaya, where a long siege has only intermittently been relieved by humanitarian aid.
