The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s Malayan tiger cubs are learning to love water so they can eventually move to their new, outdoor home, which has a pool.

The zoo released video on Friday, April 14, showing the cubs adapting to water. Malayan tigers are excellent swimmers and don’t avoid water, the zoo said. Tigers will seek out water to cool off on a hot day.

The three cubs were born in early February at the zoo. The zoo’s staff has been caring for the cubs after their mother’s maternal instincts did not kick in after birth.
