More than Rs. 1.54 crore in new currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 has been recovered from a businessman’s house in Guwahati. Guwahati CID team raided Harpdeep Singh Bedi’s house and arrested the accused. The seized amount has been handed over to the income tax department. Investigation is on.
