A rare clip has emerged from Falmouth, Cornwall of a humpback whale frolicking just off the coast.
In the clip, which was captured on April 11, the whale breaches spectacularly several times.
According to the filmer, Captain Keith from AK Wildlife Cruises, this particular whale has become known as Doris after spending more than two months up the coast in Devon.
According to Captain Keith, Doris twice became tangled in lobster pot lines and had to be rescued.
Although humpbacks are distributed worldwide, they are only occasionally seen off the south west of Ireland and the UK.
