In the wake of demonetisation, Telangana's Ibrahimpur village becomes the first cashless village in South India. At least 60% of the people already had bank accounts but did not have debit cards but after demonetisation launched villagers decided to make the village cashless. Now, almost every shopkeepers having swipe machine to make smooth transaction without any cash and any headache.
